Host Cancellation
If the host needs to cancel the event they must do so at least 7 days before the scheduled workshop date to receive a refund minus the $154.50 non-refundable deposit.
If the event is canceled within 7 days of the scheduled date, no refunds will be provided. The full event amount (This includes all payments made and the minimum balance for the 8 participants) will be retained.
Refunds for host cancellation
Cancellations made before 7 days or more in advance will be refunded in full, minus the $154.50 deposit.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will not be refunded, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
No Show or Short Attendance
If the event is not canceled and fewer than 8 participants show up, the host is still responsible for paying the minimum balance due for 8 participants.
No refunds will be given to participants who do not attend. This helps cover the cost of travel, materials, preparation time, and travel.
Sparrow & Olive LLC Cancellation
If Sparrow & Olive LLC must cancel the event for any reason, the host will receive a full refund of the deposit, and any additional payments made.
The host will also be offered the option to reschedule the event. As an added gesture of goodwill, Sparrow & Olive LLC will provide a 10% discount on the total balance for the rescheduling of the event.
Booking Policy for Future Event
Due to the respect for Sparrow & Olive LLC's time and scheduling, Sparrow & Olive LLC reserve the right to decline future bookings with any host who cancels an event without proper notice, or allows unsafe behavior during events.
