Polymer Clay Earring Workshop Saturday, November 15 @ 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM What’s included in a workshop? *Each participant will receive 1 oz of each; red, yellow, blue, white, and black Sculpey Premo clay. *Full workshop instruction *Use of all tools, cutters, (Sunflowers, cactus, shapes, etc.), texture rollers, and more. (We have a staggering collection of well over 1000 cutters and texture rollers for participants to choose from) *Hands on guidance from start to finish *Your own homemade earrings to take home (Due to time constraints, you can make 3-4 pairs of earrings during the class) All excess clay not used at the workshop is for participants to keep. What you will learn: *How to condition and prepare clay *Basic color theory and custom color mixing *Techniques for using clay cutters and tools *Finishing touches and baking guidance ***Snacks are included Trivia Prize Wheel Event: A trivia prize wheel event will be included during downtime (downtime will occur while the clay bakes in the toaster oven, estimated baking time 40-50 minutes). No extra fees will be needed to participate in the trivia wheel. Every participant is guaranteed to spin the wheel at least once. Liability and Safety: All participants (or guardians for minors) must sign a liability waiver prior to the event. Sparrow and Olive LLC will bring paper copies of the liability waiver to the event for participants to sign before the start of the workshop. All children under the age of 18 will require a legal guardian to sign a liability waiver on their behalf. If a legal guardian is not available to sign for a minor, they will not be able to participate. No exceptions will be made. The guardian if not participating in the event must remain with the minor, if the minor is under 16 years old. All participants must be 11 years old to participate due to the use of clay blades and ovens. Refund Policy: All sales are final. A refund will not be given to participants who do not attend due to the prior fees of renting workshop venues and materials. Sparrow and Olive LLC does allow transfer of participation to another person as long as it is done 24 hrs in advance and we are notified of the change.
